Arc Raiders' patch 1.7.0, part of the festive Cold Snap update, shook up blueprint farming by expanding spawn locations and moving key drops, leading to legendary weapon blueprints appearing far more often than expected. What was once a grind turned into a loot bonanza, easing the frustration of Expedition resets. Embark Studios originally aimed to make underused areas more rewarding and relocate the elusive Aphelion blueprint from the Matriarch boss to Stella Montis for fairer access, but the changes overshot, generating hype and prompting players to dig into drop rates

The main change in 1.7.0 involved dynamic blueprint spawns across all maps instead of fixed locations, along with more reliable Security Lockers to support the system. Moving Aphelion to Stella Montis coincided with improved spawn distances, preventing overcrowding while epic key rooms offered higher-value hauls. Players could now reset loadouts without fearing blueprint droughts after Expeditions.
Community reaction was immediate. Veterans spamming night raids finally snagged Tempest blueprints, while newcomers rebuilt collections in hours rather than weeks. Data crunchers reported "absurdly high" rates, with some seeing four legendary drops per match—far above pre-patch norms, where bad luck could stretch months. The windfall reduced Expedition stress, especially with the December 22 skill tree reset approaching, and players embraced fresh starts amid holiday events like snowball fights and Buried City puzzles.
In response, Embark released emergency patch 1.7.2 on December 17, slightly lowering blueprint drop rates while keeping them higher than pre-1.7.0 levels. This compromise maintained Stella Montis as a hotspot without making every drop feel automatic. The patch also addressed quest bugs, such as missing Unexpected Initiative items and tooltip errors on blueprint rewards. Players testing post-patch found T17-equivalent runs still viable, with collections recoverable through focused farming.
For farmers adjusting to 1.7.2, Stella Montis remains the prime spot for Aphelion and conditional hauls. Chaining key rooms under snowfall or electromagnetic storms boosts yields, while free loadouts and med benches help mitigate deaths. Post-reset strategies now focus on day-one full collections via map condition targeting, showing the patch's long-term impact.
Patch 1.7.0's blueprint overhaul, tempered by 1.7.2, reinforces Arc Raiders as a living shooter where loot evolves with player needs. As Cold Snap events continue, legendaries feel both earned and attainable, setting the stage for deeper Expeditions and player-driven strategies. Grab your railgun—raiding has never been this rewarding.

Path of Exile 3.27 has pushed bows back into the spotlight, and Manaforged Arrows is the main reason why. In the Keepers of the Flame league, this support gem turns bow characters into near-autobombers, especially on Deadeye and Warden. The idea is simple but incredibly effective: you attack once, spend mana, and the game fires off a cascade of other bow skills automatically. The result is screen-wide clear with very little effort, making it one of the smoothest league starts the game has seen in a long time
Poe 1 Divine Orb
.
What makes the setup feel so good is how little it asks of the player. You pick a main skill like Lightning Arrow or Tornado Shot and link a pile of secondary bow skills to Manaforged Arrows in your chest or helmet. As you attack and move, those linked skills constantly trigger on nearby enemies, overlapping projectiles and deleting packs before they can react. Deadeye leans into this perfectly with Tailwind for speed, extra arrows, and strong long-range scaling that rewards staying mobile. Warden takes a slightly different angle, stacking powerful shocks and Soul Eater bonuses that ramp damage and speed the longer you're fighting, which feels great in dense content.
The passive tree supports this playstyle naturally. Starting on Ranger gives easy access to projectile damage, accuracy, and evasion, all of which matter early. You grab life and spell suppression first to stay safe, then layer in bow and elemental damage as your gear improves. Deadeye paths into chain and Tailwind nodes to maximize clear, while Warden builds more around elemental scaling, charges, and shock effect. Leveling is smooth too, since you can start with simpler bow skills and transition into Lightning Arrow or Tornado Shot once Manaforged setups are available.
Gear is another big reason this build stands out. You don't need anything fancy to get going. A rare chest with extra gem levels, a decent bow, and capped resistances are enough to clear early maps comfortably. Evasion bases with suppression do most of the defensive work, and flasks carry a lot of power early on. As currency comes in, you can add quality-of-life uniques or stronger rares, but nothing feels mandatory. Compared to builds that rely on expensive melee weapons or fragile minions, this feels refreshingly open-ended.
In actual gameplay, it's almost effortless. You hold down your main attack, dash around with Blink Arrow, and let Manaforged Arrows do the rest. Packs disappear in flashes of lightning, bosses get shredded by overlapping projectiles, and movement stays fast thanks to Tailwind or Soul Eater stacks. Defensive layers from evasion, suppression, and pantheon choices make the build surprisingly sturdy, even in chaotic league content. Boss fights that usually feel stressful become short, controlled bursts of damage instead.
As you push deeper into maps, the build scales naturally. Adding crit, power charges, or swapping skill combinations keeps damage climbing without changing how the build plays. Legion, Breach, and Delirium all feel especially good, since density only makes Manaforged setups stronger. With some investment, Deadeye and Warden versions are both capable of handling high-tier content and even Ubers, which is impressive for something that starts this cheaply.
Manaforged Arrows has redefined what a bow league starter can be in 3.27. It's fast, flexible, and powerful without demanding perfect gear or complicated mechanics. Whether you go Deadeye for raw speed or Warden for shock-heavy scaling, the build delivers that rare combination of comfort and strength. For anyone looking to start the league smoothly and still have room to grow into endgame, this setup is hard to beat.

Season 11 has quietly turned Lunging Strike Barbarian into one of the most fluid and aggressive ways to play Diablo 4. Instead of feeling like a basic attack filler, Lunging Strike becomes the engine of the build, letting you zip from pack to pack while carving everything around you into pieces. With the season's Fury changes and Divine Gifts in play, the build feels fast, responsive, and surprisingly powerful, whether you're leveling a fresh character or pushing high Pit tiers
cheap diablo 4 gear
.
The core idea is simple: lean fully into Lunging Strike and make every swing count. Max it early and take the upgrades that apply Vulnerable and reward repeated hits with more speed. Frenzy fits naturally alongside it, stacking attack speed and keeping your momentum up, especially when dual-wielding. Shouts do most of the heavy lifting behind the scenes. Rallying Cry keeps Fury flowing and boosts movement speed, War Cry adds a big damage bump, and Power War Cry helps maintain Berserking almost nonstop. Wrath of the Berserker ties everything together, pulling enemies in and giving you Unstoppable, while Ground Stomp slots in as a clever reset tool, refreshing your ultimate after enough basic attacks so the loop never really ends.
Gear is what pushes this build from fun to absurd. Hooves of the Mountain God are the centerpiece, draining Fury when you're capped and turning basic attacks into wide, sweeping cleaves. When paired with Lunging Strike's constant leaps, entire packs melt instantly. Ramaladni's Magnum Opus adds raw damage without locking you into specific weapon setups, and a strong bludgeoning two-hander with Moonrise ramps both attack speed and damage the longer you stay in the fight. Helm and glove choices focus on crit chance, strength, and life, while tempers lean heavily into Vulnerable damage and boosting basic skill ranks. With the right setup, you're attacking so fast that enemies barely have time to react.
In practice, the build feels almost like a rhythm game. You open with Wrath of the Berserker, shout to stack buffs, then never stop lunging. Every hit snaps you to the next target, spreading Vulnerable and keeping Berserking active. Ground Stomp slides in naturally after a few attacks to keep cooldowns cycling. Managing Fury matters more than it sounds, since staying near max unlocks extra damage from key aspects, and some bonuses reward brief moments of standing still before exploding outward again. In group play, the constant pulls and cleaves make you a natural setup tool for teammates, especially when seasonal bonuses are active.
Paragon progression supports the same nonstop flow. Starting with Warbringer helps stabilize Fury early, then moving into Carnage and other crit-focused boards keeps damage scaling smoothly. Glyphs that interact with Vulnerable and Overpower shine here, and by the time you're deep into Paragon, you're stacking bonuses that extend Berserking, reduce costs, and amplify basic damage to silly levels.
Lunging Strike Barbarian feels like one of those rare setups that's both effective and genuinely fun to play. It turns a simple skill into the centerpiece of a fast, brutal loop that clears content at an incredible pace and still holds up against bosses. The core feel of this build, constant motion, heavy hits, and controlled chaos, makes it one of Season 11's standout Barbarian options.

GTA Online is rolling into the holidays in a big way this year, with a three-week festive event running from December 18, 2025, through January 7, 2026. Los Santos slowly turns into a snowy playground, packed with bonuses, free rewards, and plenty of reasons to log in every day
GTA 5 Enhanced Accounts for sale
.
There's a lot of money on the table during this event. Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid is one of the biggest highlights, with leaders and associates able to earn a massive $500,000 bonus, paid out within 72 hours of completion. Business sell missions are paying out double, which is great news if you've been sitting on stocked warehouses or biker businesses. Weed sell missions in particular are doubled, including nightclub sales, making this a perfect time for more passive players to cash in. Community Series jobs are also paying extra, and GTA+ members get an even bigger boost with quadruple rewards.
Weekly challenges run across the entire event instead of resetting each week. First up is selling a total of $100,000 across your businesses, followed by winning four Adversary Modes, and finally leading a Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid Finale in the last stretch. Finish all three and you'll walk away with $300,000 and an exclusive Krampus Sweater. It's a nice long-term goal that doesn't feel too demanding, even if you're only playing casually over the holidays. Daily objectives are also in rotation, ranging from VIP work to non-contact races and even the occasional tennis match, so solo players still have plenty to do.
Holiday gifts are flowing freely this year. Log in between December 23 and January 7 and you'll receive items like the Season's Greetings Sweater, New Year Fireworks Bodysuit, Snowball Launcher, Candy Cane, and a Firework Launcher loaded with rockets. Rockstar is also topping up snacks, armor, and ammo, which comes in handy when random lobby chaos breaks out. Players signed up to the mailing list can grab a Red Festive Tree Hat just for logging in before the end of December, and there's even a free Buckingham SuperVolito Carbon helicopter available for everyone during its limited window. On top of that, a few smaller cosmetic gifts like the FIB Priority File and Rockstar Propaganda items add some extra flair to your character.
If you've been saving money for expansions, the discounts alone make this event worth your time. Weed Farms and their upgrades are heavily discounted, and the SuperVolito Carbon is completely free during its claim period. The Gun Van also has some tempting deals, including a discounted Service Carbine, with GTA+ members getting access to a reduced-price Stun Gun. Salvage Yard robberies are especially appealing right now, with high-value vehicle rewards like the Ocelot Virtue, Bravado Buffalo STX, and a festive Vapid Clique up for grabs.
Racing fans aren't left out either. Arms Race is featured as the premium race, time trials are active across the map, and the LS Car Meet prize ride this time around is the Pfister Comet Safari with a special holiday livery. Over at the Diamond Casino, the podium vehicle is the Bollokan Envisage, and winning it feels especially satisfying when snow is covering the streets outside. New drip-feed vehicles from the Mansions DLC are also becoming available to everyone, adding more variety to garages after the A Safehouse in the Hills update.
GTA+ members do get some extra perks, like higher payouts on Community Series jobs and exclusive Gun Van offers, but even without a subscription there's more than enough here to keep free players busy and well-paid. The return of snowfall, Yeti Hunts, and festive chaos really brings back that classic GTA Online holiday vibe, especially if you're playing with friends or a crew. With bonuses running until January 7, there's no rush, but jumping in early gives you more time to stack cash, collect freebies, and enjoy Los Santos at its most chaotic and festive.

Transportation and Movement
The world of Gielinor is vast-traveling across the map can take 30 minutes or more. Efficient travel methods are key:
Train Agility to conserve run energy.
Raise Magic for teleport spells.
Use Jewelry Teleports: Rings of Dueling, Game Necklaces, and Amulets of Glory can teleport you to common hubs.
Use Other Players' Houses: In World 330, you can find player-owned houses offering teleports to nearly every area in the game.
Quests and Minigames
Quests in OSRS aren't just storylines-they unlock new areas, gear, and content. Always enable the Quest Helper plugin on RuneLite to speed up completion. Some highly recommended early quests:
Waterfall Quest: Massive early Attack and Strength XP.
Witch's House: Great early Hitpoints boost.
The Grand Tree: Unlocks fast travel routes and decent XP.
Minigames are another great way to progress while having fun:
Tempoross: Fishing and Cooking XP.
Wintertodt: Firemaking XP and supply crates.
Guardians of the Rift: RuneCrafting XP and early runes.
Combat Basics
OSRS combat runs on a tick system (one tick = 0.6 seconds). It's semi-real-time-both you and your opponent act simultaneously.
Key mechanics:
Attack: Increases accuracy and unlocks better weapons.
Strength: Increases damage.
Defense: Reduces damage and unlocks stronger armor.
Magic & Ranged: Use runes or ammunition for powerful ranged or elemental attacks.
Prayer: Grants powerful buffs (e.g., Piety for all-around boosts).
For melee, each weapon type has preferred attack styles:
Stab (Swords)
Slash (Scimitars)
Crush (Maces or Warhammers)
Using the right style increases accuracy and damage.
Final Thoughts
Old School RuneScape is special because it lets you play your way. You can train passively while multitasking, or dive deep into boss fights and quests. Every system in OSRS connects-skills feed into quests, quests unlock gear, and gear fuels combat. Having plenty of OSRS gold can also provide you with a good motivation.
Your journey is about setting goals, learning the systems, and gradually mastering Gielinor. Whether you're cooking shrimp in Lumbridge or taking down Jad for your first Fire Cape, every step forward feels earned-and that's what makes OSRS timeless.
The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Old School RuneScape
Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is one of the longest-running MMORPGs ever made, blending nostalgia with endless depth and freedom. Whether you're a brand-new player or returning after years away, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know - from the game's history and setup to combat, skills, quests, and long-term goals.
Getting Started: Accounts and Clients
Before playing, you'll need a Jagex Account. It's the secure, modern way to manage your characters and offers built-in two-factor authentication. You can register through the official OSRS website or download the Jagex Launcher or mobile app.
Once your account is ready, you'll need a client to play:
RuneLite: Highly recommended for beginners - it includes essential plugins like Quest Helper and tile indicators.
Official Client: Clean, but lacks plugin customization.
HDOS: Offers a more graphically enhanced experience.
RuneLite is the best choice for newcomers thanks to its quality-of-life features and integrated guides.
Tutorial Island and Core Mechanics
Every player starts on Tutorial Island, a small area designed to teach the basics of combat, crafting, and exploration. RuneScape runs on a tick-based system, meaning actions occur every 0.6 seconds. It's a point-and-click sandbox game - you're free to do whatever you want with no fixed storyline.
Use your mouse or touchscreen to move, and the arrow keys or middle mouse button to rotate your camera. Dialogue boxes can be navigated with the spacebar or number keys, and you can enable Escape-to-Close in settings for smoother play.
Combat Basics
There are three main combat styles in OSRS:
Melee – Close-range, physical attacks.
Ranged – Uses bows, darts, or thrown weapons.
Magic – Casts spells using runes.
Combat involves a mix of stats, random number generation (RNG), and strategy. Enemies have different weaknesses - for example, dragons are weak to stab and magic attacks, while ghosts take extra damage from magical spells.
Early on, melee training with a scimitar is best for free-to-play players. You can buy one in Al Kharid or from the Grand Exchange.
Wear the best armor you can use (Bronze → Rune).
Equip an Amulet of Strength and a Combat Bracelet for bonus stats.
For ranged, start with leather armor and a shortbow, upgrading to Dragonhide armor as you level up.
For magic, use Fire Strike to begin, and upgrade gear to
buy Runescape gold
Wizard Robes or Mystic gear for better spellcasting. Having enough RuneScape gold can also enhance your spellcasting ability.

If you've been struggling to get consistent stops in College Football 26, you're not alone. The new defensive mechanics, expanded playbooks, and pre-snap tools can feel overwhelming at first. But once you understand how to use them effectively, defense becomes one of the most rewarding parts of the game. Whether you're trying to create turnovers, shut down the run, or just survive online matchups, these defensive tips and settings will help you level up fast. Lots of
CUT 26 Coins
will also help you to level up.
1. Break Your Habits and Learn to Adapt
One of the biggest mistakes players make is becoming predictable. If you call the same blitz on every third down, your opponent will pick up on it. Even if you mix things up early in the drive, patterns like this stand out. Instead, use your own tendencies to set traps. If your opponent clearly expects a mid-blitz, fake it and drop into coverage instead. Let them adjust themselves to a mistake.
Similarly, don't abandon what works too quickly. If a coverage or blitz just succeeded, don't assume your opponent has solved it the very next play. Make them prove it. Many players don't adjust nearly as much as you think. Stick to your plan until they consistently beat it.
2. Study Your Opponent and Remember the No-Huddle
Pay attention to what your opponent is doing between plays. If they go no-huddle after a successful gain, keep that last play in mind-it's still in their active rotation. Even if they switch it up immediately, there's a strong chance they'll return to it later. Recognizing these tendencies lets you anticipate key downs and shut down their favorite routes before they develop.
3. Use Blitzing as a Mind Game
You don't have to blitz every play to make it effective. In fact, sometimes blitzing early in a game is enough to keep your opponent nervous for the rest of it. A couple of early blitzes can make them second-guess every dropback, even when you're sitting in coverage. That mental advantage alone can generate mistakes and force bad throws.
4. Master Shell Coverage and Pre-Snap Looks
A new and powerful tool in College Football 26 is the ability to disguise your coverage using shell coverage adjustments. Your pre-snap look no longer has to match your actual play call. With the right stick, you can make your defense appear to be in Cover 0 (all-out blitz) while you're actually in Cover 2 zone-or vice versa.
This creates constant uncertainty for your opponent. They can no longer tell what you're running based on alignment alone. The key is never letting your pre-snap look give away your real coverage too often. Keep your opponent guessing, and they'll start second-guessing themselves into mistakes.
5. Control Your User Defender Like a Pro
Your user-controlled defender is the most valuable player on the field. Whether you prefer playing as a linebacker or safety, two principles will elevate your play immediately:
Use peripheral vision: Don't focus on a single receiver. Watch the general area and anticipate routes before they break open. Waiting until someone's open is too late.
Understand leverage and angles: To create turnovers, undercut routes instead of following receivers. Position yourself between the quarterback and the ball, especially on slants or out routes. For passes over the middle, take a direct line between the QB and target-these are prime pick-six opportunities.
6. Use the Switch Stick System Efficiently
The new switch stick system lets you instantly switch to the nearest defender by flicking the right stick. This is incredibly useful for making last-second plays on the ball. To use it effectively, know where you want to switch before the play develops. Keep your left stick engaged as you switch so you can immediately pursue your new target without losing time. Reading your opponent's body language-like which side the QB drifts toward-can clue you in on where to switch next.
7. Optimize Coaching Adjustments
Coaching adjustments can make or break your defense. Here's what to prioritize:
Auto Flip Defensive Play Call: ON - This keeps your defense properly aligned against offensive formations.
Defensive Motion Response: Default - Prevents your defenders from being caught out of position on motion plays.
Matchups: Choose how your defenders line up-by overall, speed, height, route running, or depth chart. For balanced coverage, speed matchups are a safe bet.
Option Defense: Set your read key to Conservative (forces handoffs) and pitch key to Aggressive (forces QBs to keep the ball). This shuts down most option-based plays.
8. Perfect Your Zone Drop Adjustments
Zone drops give you precise control over how deep each defender plays in coverage.
Flat Zones: Control short throws to the sidelines. Use hard flats for short passes and cloud flats for deeper outs.
Curl Flats: Cover intermediate sideline routes. Adjust depth to counter crossing or corner routes.
Hook Zones: Manage the middle of the field. Adjust manually if you see gaps or quick slants developing.
9. Leverage Stunts and Manual Depth Adjustments
Defensive line stunts are a game-changer this year. You can activate them from the play call screen or on the field to create pressure without blitzing. Even weaker pass rush units can generate pressure this way while keeping coverage solid.
Manual depth adjustments are another new tool. Double-tap Triangle/Y /Y, select your defender, hold L1/LB, and move the left stick to adjust depth. Once you get used to it, it becomes second nature and helps you counter specific offensive setups.
10. Commit Smartly and Scout Before the Game
Use pass and run commits carefully-only when you're confident. Guessing wrong will burn you. Similarly, you can jump routes by holding R1/RB and flicking the left stick, but again, guess wisely.
Before every matchup, scout your opponent: check their QB's mobility, key targets, and go-to routes. Identify their favorite plays early, and expect them to come back to those in crunch time.
11. Pressure From Different Angles
Never blitz from the same side twice in a row. Mix up your looks and use pre-snap disguises like QB contain (R1/RB + L1/LB) to trap mobile quarterbacks in the pocket. If you think a play-action is coming, use Play the Pass (Triangle/Y + right stick up) to

The Unexpected Initiative quest in ARC Raiders takes players into the shifting ruins of the Buried City and tasks them with recovering two essential items: Fertilizer and a Water Pump. Although the objectives are straightforward, both items are located in different areas of the map, and you'll need to
ARC Raiders Coins
reach each one within the same raid for the quest to register properly. Fortunately, the two locations are close enough that you can complete the mission in a single, efficient route-provided you know exactly where to go.
This guide will walk you step-by-step through locating the Fertilizer and Water Pump, navigating the safest routes, and extracting with your quest ARC Raiders Items intact. Whether you're approaching the mission solo or running with a squad, this walkthrough ensures a smooth and successful completion of the Unexpected Initiative quest.
Before You Begin - Essential Prep
Although you can technically turn in Fertilizer and Water Pump items from your stash, the game still requires you to physically loot both items during one Buried City raid for the quest objectives to update. That means you must:
Visit both locations
Interact with each item
Extract safely afterward
To avoid losing either component to a rogue raider or unlucky encounter, it's highly recommended to bring:
An augment with two safe pockets - so you can secure both quest items
A mid-range weapon - Buried City encounters frequently occur between buildings
Healing Items - the route can be contested by other players
Once you're geared up, head into Buried City and begin your run toward the first objective.
Where to Find the Fertilizer - Grandioso Apartments
Your first destination is the Grandioso Apartments, a major point of interest on the western side of the Buried City. This towering residential complex is popular among raiders due to its solid loot drops, which means the area is often contested. Move cautiously and check corners as you navigate the grounds.
Finding the Entrance
Grandioso Apartments features multiple access points, but the most efficient route to the Fertilizer is:
Approach the building's lower courtyard.
Look for the inner zipline located near the entry area.
Ride the zipline upward to reach the top floor interior walkway.
From there, climb the nearby staircase up to the roof.
Locating the Fertilizer
Once on the roof, look for several orange planting pots grouped together. The Fertilizer is located inside these pots.
Interact with the pot
Collect the Fertilizer
Immediately place it into a safe pocket to protect it
With the first objective complete, it's time to travel to the second location. Luckily, it's not far from here.
Where to Find the Water Pump - Broken Rooftop Gardens at Piazza Roma
The next stop is Piazza Roma, located a short distance northeast of Grandioso Apartments. This section of Buried City features multiple tall structures, but the one you're looking for has a distinct rooftop garden space where the Water Pump is located.
Compared to Grandioso, Piazza Roma sees less raider traffic, which gives you a more relaxed window to complete the objective-though it's still wise to stay alert.
Finding the Correct Building
When you reach Piazza Roma, identify the building shown in the original quest screenshot or map marker. It is recognizable by:
A garden rooftop
Clustered planters
A clear path to a higher ledge
Climbing to the Rooftop
The most efficient way to reach the Water Pump is via:
A yellow ladder is located between the target building and the structure beside it
This ladder climbs multiple levels and takes you directly to
buy ARCR Coins
the roof. You can traverse the building internally, but the ladder is significantly faster and safer.
